Our Proud History
Kris Morris-Vette, along with his wife Wendy, established Watershed with Kris leading the business for nearly 20 years as the founding Managing Director.
With Kris’ extensive experience in project and facility management in educational and local body institutions and as a recognised industry leader in the management of aquatic facilities; having been involved both as an operator and in a supervisory capacity since the mid 1990’s it became apparent that there was a great opportunity for service improvement within the education and recreation sectors. This led to the launch of Watershed in 2006, which was focused on improving systems, driven out of the need to lift service levels and improve client satisfaction.
Kris’ commitment to approaching Watershed’s work and clients was built around a collaborative manner, with an understanding that “the brains of many” contribute to great outcomes. This approach underpins the space Watershed works in today, and the way it delivers its tasks.
These days along with co-founder Wendy Morris-Vette, who is still active in the business, the team carry on in the tradition of Kris and the Watershed way with Watershed’s long-standing and growing client list a reflection of this consistent delivery and the enthusiasm of the team.
