Laura Walker Property Administration Support

Laura joined the Watershed team in June 2020 as our Receptionist, welcoming guests and being the first point of contact for the Newmarket office. However, with her wealth of knowledge and experience she has changed roles taking her on a journey into the Property Team in an administration support role.

Prior to this, Laura worked in the Aviation industry as a Cabin Crew Assessor Trainer, where she trained and supervised domestic based flight attendants on board the ATR600 aircraft. Laura trained new recruits on service etiquette, on-board procedures, Aviation First Aid, and emergency protocols, whilst also conducting annual line checks on current crew to ensure Civil Aviation Authority Standards were consistently being met throughout the fleet.

She then traded in her wings for a ground-based role working for The Building Intelligence Group, where she provided Project Administration, Reception, and Office Support to a large team of Project Managers and Directors in the CBD.

Outside of work, Laura keeps busy working on her own small business selling pet products internationally, where she is continuing to learn about marketing, social media advertising, website development, product design, and communicating to supply factories and her customers around the world. Laura also enjoys painting, playing trumpet, anything travel-related, and spending time with her loved ones (and with their pets, of course!).
