Lily Green Aquatics Client Support

Lily has been in the aquatics industry since leaving school in 2008. She joins Watershed with a vast background in large-scale commercial and residential sites. Starting out as a lifeguard at Onehunga War Memorial Pool the opportunity arose for Lily to take on and learn the workings of how large-scale commercial pools operated. From there her passion and enthusiasm for the industry grew. For four years Lily maintained the aquatic facility at Next Gen in the Auckland Domain; the most premier Health and Fitness club in the country. Before she left, she wrote the operations manual, designed and commissioned some Next Gen colour branded lane ropes, both of which are still used today.

As an Aquatics Technician, Lily gained an abundance of knowledge and skills, such as installations, recommendations of chemical dosing units, troubleshooting, diagnosing faults and errors, chemical balancing and everything in between. There is no Aquatic problem Lily has not encountered. Deciding she would like to upskill further, Lily has now swapped the tools for the office where she can be more client focused, although if the opportunity comes her way, she is more than willing to jump on the tools to help out.

Outside of work, Lily likes to cook for friends - she even has dreams of starting a food truck in her spare time one day. She also likes to spend time adventuring and exploring around New Zealand.
