Okaihau College Learning Centre Upgrade & Art Room Modernisation

After receiving an approved 5YA, we completed the College’s first project – a new Learning Centre. This project was an alteration to the existing Sunshine Block and has created a statement for the School. It involved remodelling the existing library to incorporate two unused toilet spaces.

The Learning Centre is now a fresh modern space for the school and provides flexible learning spaces.

Watershed was also contracted with project managing the refurbishment of two teaching spaces, one being a specialist art facility.

Works included installing glazing panels into the teacher workroom/storage space between the two rooms. The areas were relined with new carpet tiles, vinyl and Autex, as well as Kemlite splashback around the wet areas.

The most recent project was the DQLS upgrade of Block R which included upgrades to five classrooms, now located in a single block.
