Parnell Baths was suffering significant water loss through the old pool floor and joints. Therefore, it was difficult to maintain good water quality due to poor water circulation.

Watershed initially worked with the client, then with the Structural Engineers and the main Contractor, to develop an innovative solution that respected the historic status and requirements of the facility, whilst providing an inventive and cost-effective solution that was virtually unnoticeable once the project was completed.

As part of the value add, the opportunity was taken to improve pool water circulation and flow without adding significant expense or time pressures to the project. Thanks to a collaborative approach to finding and delivering the right solution, this challenging project was completed over Winter, ensuring the facility opened on time for the Summer season.
